Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Tupoho
Castlecliff, Whanganui
This entrance garden was installed during the kura holidays with help from hardworking and dedicated mahi māra. Ngā mihi nui ki a kōutou!
Following te Awa, the Whanganui river, from the mountain, the forest, over the rocks and to sea, this garden echo’s the landscape as it wraps around the Kura entrance.
Local river stones, driftwood and ex-railway sleepers reference the environment. The plant selection is Tī kōuka, Kōwhai, Kākā Beak, Renga Lillies and mountain Tussock grasses.
