Residential and Commercial Services
We use Permaculture principles to determine the most suitable design for the site. Understanding the needs of users we consider climate, micro-climates, access, rainfall and passive solar to determine the optimal positions of structures and areas, and to guide suitable plant selection. We cycle resources through the system through worm farms and composts and mulch all gardens to build soil, slow evaporation and prevents weed growth. For the long-term health of soil, plants, people and wildlife we do not use pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic fertilisers.
We work with expertise, care, and integrity.

Consultation + Concept Design
Progress ideas into a Concept plan.
A Concept Plan develops the initial Consultation and is more suited when renovating an outdoor area. It gives clear direction to ensure your garden will be connected, relevant, abundant and manageable into the future.
-
The Concept Plan includes:
Initial Consultation to determine clear direction/needs of client.
Marking all existing structures, vegetation and microclimates on a 2D plan of the site.
Adding potential works to the site map. Locations are chosen for mutual interactive benefits and include access, paths, water tanks, waste, recycling and compost areas, garden beds, seating etc.
Recommendation of plant species and materials to be used in construction.
Client receives a copy of plan with examples of design suggestions.
An estimate of the cost of works can be provided at this stage.
A fixed quote will require a Detailed Design Plan as actual costing depends on the confirmation of all final plant and material choices, and all dimensions and materials of structures or works to be done by specialist trades.
Please note:
If you have a fixed budget, I can design the works and plant selection to meet your budget. Please specify this from the outset so time is not wasted on unrealistic selection and planning.
-
Initial Consultation + Concept Plan Fee: $500 for a standard house section.
The cost of larger properties requiring additional time can be agreed upon when booking.
Consultation + Concept Design + Design Plan
Develop Concept plan into a detailed, scaled Design plan.
This Design Plan gives much greater detail.
Depending on your time frame and budget, more complex works can be implemented in stages with the confidence of this master plan. This plan can also be used to direct works by specialist trades.
-
A design plan includes:
A Permaculture Consultation and Concept Plan.
A review, by you, of the Concept Plan with any modifications.
Final selection of all construction materials and specific plant selections are made.
The scope of works is confirmed.
The exact location and dimensions of construction and planting areas are presented on a hand, or computer drawn, 2D plan with a minimum of 2 side-view (elevation) drawings.
Photographic examples of materials, structures, and plant selections
A fixed quote is calculated, including the cost of all materials, plants, and the time to carry out works.
Specialist quotes may be required but we can help with this and recommend tradespeople.
-
Consultation + Concept Plan + Design Plan Fee: Starts from $1200.
Actual fee will depend on the size of your property and the detail required. An estimate of time/costs for your specific Design Plan can be given at Consultation or Concept Plan phase.
Please note: If detailed construction or engineer drawings (for structures or earthworks) are required this will incur additional cost and depend on the level of detail required. These designs can be sourced from the relevant tradesperson or engineer, and we can assist with this, where necessary. Likewise, irrigation and/or lighting designs may require additional time, please discuss this at the Consultation/Concept stage.
