Continuing on from Te Pae Maharahara memorial garden project these native trees were added to extend habitat restoring the gully, providing shade and shelter from sun and high coastal winds. Works began June 2022

Trees are planted into compost and aged tree mulch. Cardboard and further tree mulch is used to suppress grass and to feed worms. Mulch mulch mulch - Many hands make light work!
