Native Green Belt
Te Kura Kaupapa Māori O Tupoho - Castlecliff, Whanganui, New Zealand
Continuing on from the adjacent Te Pae Maharahara memorial garden these native trees were added to extend habitat and restore the gully, providing shade and shelter from sun and high coastal winds. Works began June 2022

Initially cardboard and tree mulch is laid to suppress grass and increase worms. Trees are planted into compost and aged tree mulch..and more mulch - many hands make light work!
Awesome teamwork
