Om Sleiman (Ladybird) is a community farm which grows organic produce (in a CSA - Community Supported Agricultural model). and teaches permaculture and organic farming. Growing food in the Occupied Palestinian Territories is challenging on a daily level, Palestinians having restricted access to water, arable land and opportunities to sell their produce.  This project supports community and self-sufficiency through education, workshops (permaculture, natural building and organic food production).
Volunteers gain an understanding of life under military occupation and the courage and optimism of making gardens, despite constant opposition and destruction.
